Newmarket State School Robotics Club provides an engaging environment to learn the coding and robotics through some fun challenges. Using our Lego Mindstorms EV3s, the students learn how to control the robots and solve a range of challenges. They learn a lot about coding, as well as how to use different components such as touch sensors, colour sensors and ultrasonic sensors.
Mr Greg Bland and Mr Josh Bjelke-Petersen run Robotics for Year 5 and 6 students each Wednesday after school in 5B. The Robotics Club also aims to represent our school at the First Lego League Australia competition each year.
